The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)
has awarded UTAX Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Cyber Essentials is an effective, Government-backed scheme designed to protect organisations against a whole range of common cyber-attacks, making it an important cybersecurity milestone for the company.
The Cyber Essentials Plus certification demonstrates UTAX’s commitment to securing its systems and data. It requires independent verification by an external auditor who conducts a series of technical assessments to ensure the company is protected against various attack scenarios. As part of the assessment, the company had to prove that it has sufficient technical controls in place to defend and protect customer data.
Managing Director, Shaun Wilkinson, said: “Achieving this certification, which is verified by the NCSC certification partner, IASME Consortium, adding an extra layer of credibility, reflects our commitment to safeguarding our partners’ data and infrastructure. Our partners can be safe in the knowledge that we have controls in place to ensure that we are well equipped to defend against highly sophisticated cyber-attacks.”
