Editors COMMENT by Michelle Ryder

Entries for the 2025 edition of the PrintIT Awards are now closed and our judges are hard at work reviewing the entries and completing the tough task of determining the winners. The judging panel will determine the shortlists and overall winners on September 11 and we will announce the shortlists on September 15.

Last issue, PrintIT Reseller invited leading print industry vendors to explore if the print sector is an attractive career choice for young professionals and explain how they are working to attract the next‑generation. This month, we hear from some of the sector’s emerging talent why they chose to enter the print industry (page 36).

Also in this issue, Sam Cawthorne, Marketing Communications Lead at Kyocera Document Solutions, picks the work tools she uses every day and couldn’t do her job without (page 18). This month’s Q&A is with Richard Taylor, Managing Director, XBM and Office

Odyssey, and PITR spent 60 seconds with Abbie Jeffery, Strategic Partner Manager, PaperCut Software.

If you’ve got any news about your business to share, would like to be included on our monthly VOX POP panel, have a compelling business success story or simply wish to comment on any industry issues, please get in touch with me at: michelle@printitreseller.co.uk
