KRL Group has been named a finalist in the ‘Environmentally Friendly Business of the Year’ category at the 2024 Goole & Howdenshire Business Awards.
The Goole & Howdenshire Business Excellence Awards, which were co-founded and chaired by local businessman Garrey Haase (Director of Yorkshire Eyewear), recognise and celebrate business excellence in Goole and the surrounding area. The awards have become one of the area’s most prestigious events, recognising local success stories and presenting a perfect opportunity to further raise the profile of the Goole and Howdenshire area of East Yorkshire.
The ‘Environmentally Friendly Business of the Year’ category recognises businesses that work hard to minimise the impact of their activities on the environment. Managing Director George Baker attributes the accolade being made possible by its promotion of Epson heat-free devices to businesses in Yorkshire.
The company has also opened a new Leeds office. Baker said that following unprecedented growth over the last 12 months, it was considered a strategic move to expand the sales and service support team into the Leeds area to address growing demand from clients and prospective clients in the region. The office is located in an ideal position, just off the M62 at Morley enabling engineers to access road networks quickly if a site visit is required.
