Donna Reid, ECS’s UK Sales Manager will be running next year’s London Marathon on behalf of an exceptional charity, the Laura Centre, for a terrific cause.
Having lost her niece in 2021 due to a tragic road traffic accident, Donna has made the brave decision to run next year’s London Marathon (April, 2024) on behalf of her niece, family, and the Laura Centre.
During their time of need, Donna and her family were provided excellent care and support by the Laura Centre; a Leicestershire based bereavement charity who are funded solely by donations and fantastic fundraising causes like Donna’s.
In order for the Laura Centre to continue to do their fantastic work and help other families like Donna’s both now and in the future, donations and fundraising efforts are incredibly important.
Prior to completing the London Marathon, Donna has also completed a number of other races with further plans to compete in more before April next year. So far under Donna’s belt, she’s completed the Birmingham Half Marathon in May, Solihull Half Marathon in August and the London Big Half Marathon in September, as well as the Cathedral to Castle 10 mile terrain run in April.
In order to help support the Laura Centre to continue with their fantastic work, Donna is asking for the industry’s help. Any donations for this fantastic cause would be greatly appreciated by Donna, her family, and the Laura Centre.
