Last month Toshiba Tec hosted two partner events centred around the theme of ‘All About Print – Who and What?. PrintIT Reseller attended one of the events held in Toshiba’s London showroom
The primary purpose of these events was to showcase Toshiba’s industrial colour label printing, barcode solutions and to officially launch its new range of A4 e-STUDIO MFPs and printers, to channel partners.
The format of the event was a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and Q&As. A team of Toshiba experts in each area were on hand toexpand on the finer details and answer any specific questions from its resellers.
A focus on print
New Toshiba solutions on show at the event included:
· BC400P – industrial colour label printing
· A4 e-STUDIO MFPs and printers
· Cloud print management
Graham Adshead Head of Architecture at Toshiba Tec opened the partner day with an introduction to colour. During his presentation he showcased a new sales software tool that enables resellers to further maximise sales and engagement opportunities across a wide range of industry sectors.
Dave Solomons, Head of Sales for Toshiba Tec’s barcode solutions division showcased the s new range of labelling devices and demonstrated an innovative cost per copy calculator that enables end-users to decide coverage and cost per copy options when printing labels in sectors that output high volumes..
The afternoon session looked at Toshiba’s new range of A4 e-STUDIO MFPs and printers. Highlights include fast print speeds up to 50ppm, a 10” touch panel screen, 2,850- sheet paper capacity, WI-FI-option, a secure TPM (Trusted Platform Module) and energy-efficient low power supply.
Cloud print management
The final session focused onToshiba’s cloud print management software.
Toshiba e-BRIDGE Global Print and e-follow Cloud Print simplifies printing from wherever you work, allowing users to send print jobs directly to cloud-connected Toshiba MFPs, and then release when ready at the printer of their choice.
e-BRIDGE Global Print turns makes printer management easy by allowing users to print from anywhere, to anywhere, whilst tracking is made possible via an integrated app.
e-follow Cloud Print provides print management features used by traditional on-premise print management customers, enabling customersto migrate to a cloud-based solution without losing any of the value-add features within legacy on-premise software.
The well-attended partner day closed with a Q&A session where Toshiba product specialists invited partners to ask any questions around the products and solutions showcased and demonstrated throughout the day.
