DCI Expands Sustainability Initiative with a Focus on Eco-Friendly Technology

Dynamic Cassette International (DCI) is expanding its sustainability strategy with a new initiative announced to include a greater focus on eco-friendly technology. This move comes in response to the rising demand for sustainable alternatives as businesses and individuals seek solutions for greener tech.

As one of the world’s leading remanufacturers of inkjet cartridges, DCI has continued to set industry standards for quality, innovation, and environmental responsibility for over 40 years. With over 6 million tonnes of e-waste ending up in landfill each year in the UK alone, DCI is developing their sustainability efforts in line with its mission of reducing electronic waste.

DCI’s recycling and collection arm, The Recycling Factory (TRF), is already an established player in the refurbished tech industry after the successful launch of its renewed printer collection. TRF will lead the new venture into collecting and refurbishing laptops, building on their longstanding mission to reduce landfill and expand product lifecycles. Each stage of the refurbishment process is to be carried out in-house at DCI’s purpose-built facility by a team of dedicated professionals ensuring quality and efficiency.

Phil Sneath, Commercial Director at DCI explains, “Our expansion into refurbished laptops marks a strategic step forward for DCI. We are responding to the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable IT solutions and aim to make eco-friendly tech more accessible to businesses and consumers.”

DCI is proud to demonstrate leadership in environmental responsibility, investing in high quality processes that align with the company’s long-term sustainability goals. These initiatives reflect DCI’s ongoing commitment to reduce e-waste and drive positive environmental change.

Established in 1983, Dynamic Cassette International Ltd (DCI) is one of the world’s leading remanufacturers of ink cartridges and refurbishers of used tech. All R&D, package design and production are completed in-house at DCI’s purpose-built production facility in Boston, Lincolnshire.
