Simon Bennett, Senior Director, Enterprise Software and Cloud, UK and Ireland at TD SYNNEX, has been promoted to Managing Director, Advanced Solutions, UK&I. Bennett takes over from Matt Child who has moved into a new role leading the distie’s European digital strategy.
As Senior Vice President, Digital, Europe, Child steps into the shoes of Andy Gass, who is retiring from the business in January 2024, after a 30-year tenure. Bennett said: “I am really excited to be taking on the leadership of the advanced solutions division in the UK and Ireland.
Over the last four years, Matt has built a fantastic team with incredible depth of capability. He has established the advanced solutions business as a leader in the enablement and aggregation of emerging technologies and a genuinely trusted advisor for channel partners.
I look forward to continuing and building on that success and taking the business into the next exciting phase of its development.”
