Norwich-based Mayday Office Equipment has acquired neighbouring business Norfolk Copiers. Mayday will retain the brand and run the Konica Minolta and Kyocera print dealership which was established in 1985 as a separate business within the group.
Adam Northcut, Director at Mayday said: “Norfolk Copiers was a family-run local business, and it was important to the former owners and to us that we continue business as usual. We are delighted to welcome the staff and customers to the Mayday Group.”
The two companies’ offering is complementary as Northcut explains: “We can now offer joint customers a much wider range of products and services. In addition to extending our OEM partnerships which will offer all customers more choice, Norfolk Copiers’ customer base can now also access additional services including IT services, telephony and broadband services.”
