With the launch of e-BRIDGE CloudConnect (ECC), users of Toshiba TEC MFPs can look forward to greater device uptime and a reduced management burden.
The secure, cloud-based solution provides device status alerts, remote diagnostics, remote health checks, automated meter readings and Just in Time supplies replenishment.
ECC can be configured for any Toshiba e-BRIDGE X or e-BRIDGE Next MFP and there is no need to install software on users’ servers or computers.
Toshiba says that operational data is transmitted to the Service Cloud over a secure HTTPS/SSL connection and can only be viewed by Toshiba and Approved Business Partners associated with that actual device.
