Apogee expands European presence

Apogee recently invested in MCA to create a new company named MCA-Apogee. This investment will enable it to expand its existing European footprint.

The newly formed company has acquired French managed workplace services provider AM Trust’s print management solutions business.

AM Trust employees will transfer to the new MCA-Apogee company and will continue to provide a managed service to the combined customer base.

Apogee Corporation has a long history of organic and acquisition growth, having completed more than 20 acquisitions to date. Apogee will use its experience, and the expertise of AM Trust Group, in financing solutions, data management, and digital dematerialisation to complement MCA- Apogee’s portfolio of services, benefiting new and existing customers.

Aurelio Maruggi, CEO of Apogee said: “This investment represents another significant step for Apogee towards establishing a pan-European presence, extending the leadership in managed workplace services established in the UK to other major European countries.

MCA and AM Trust have a long and successful history in managed print services and the partnership with Apogee will open new opportunities in managed workplace solutions with existing and new customers.”

MCA-Apogee will operate independently from the main Apogee Group but will leverage assets and capabilities from the parent company, as it looks to accelerate growth through the expanded portfolio of services.
