Ricoh has announced the acquisition of Canadian workplace technology and collaboration integrator ET Group. The deal, completed by Ricoh Canada Inc., strengthens the company’s position as a provider of end- to-end workplace experience solutions and accelerates its expansion into high growth digital services.
It also supports Ricoh’s global strategy to meet the needs of an evolving workplace environment. The acquisition brings ET Group’s extensive audiovisual engineering expertise into Ricoh’s portfolio. Known for designing, delivering and supporting enterprise-wide collaboration environments, particularly for government and other highly regulated sectors, the integration enhances Ricoh’s ability to deliver scalable, technology-driven workplace solutions across Canada.
The investment expands Ricoh’s capabilities in enterprise-grade AV design and integration, hybrid meeting and collaboration solutions, managed digital workplace services and workplace experience and onsite staffing services. ET Group will operate as a wholly- owned subsidiary of Ricoh Canada, addinga highly skilled team of AV engineers, designers, project managers and support specialists trusted by major corporations and public institutions.
Customers will gain access to a more comprehensive service ecosystem that integrates AV and collaboration technologies, workplace experience services, mailroom automation and managed print, scan and fleet services. The combined offering enables organisations to design, connect and manage the workplace as a unified, intelligent environment.
