KRL Group has chosen Daisy Appeal as its charity of the year for 2025. The Hull-based company is also a proud sponsor of the Mischief of Rats sculpture trail, created in partnership with the charity to raise funds and awareness.
The Daisy Appeal supports early diagnosis for three of the region’s most devastating diseases – cancer, heart disease, and dementia – through cutting-edge research and medical imaging technology based at Castle Hill Hospital.
From 1,500 scans per year to over 5,000, the Daisy Appeal’s growth has transformed local healthcare. Now, with the opening of its Molecular Imaging Research Centre and the potential to acquire one of the UK’s most advanced full-body digital scanners, its impact is set to grow even further. Funds raised through the sculpture trail will directly support this next phase, helping to double scanning capacity and continue life-saving work across Hull and East Yorkshire.
